Breakfast restaurants columbus ohio12/15/2023 ![]() ![]() Served with just the right amount of maple syrup and the Caramelized Bananas were a great addition. The French Toast was very large and prepared perfectly for the combination of crunch and softness that good French Toast has. So this dish was a great hit and is highly recommended. The eggs were prepared as ordered, over medium. The rancheros were covered with more crushed tomatoes and onion salsa than I am used to, but it was very flavorful and it made excellent additional topping and dipping for the Black Bean and Queso Fresco Tortilla. All four were very very good, but the standouts were the Huevos Rancheros and the Challah French Toast. At our table of four we had the Huevos Rancheros, Breakfast Burrito, Challah French Toast and Greek Omelette. Lots and lots of choices for breakfast, including some creative ones. Large outdoor dining area which was shaded for breakfast and a pretty large indoor area as well. Went here for breakfast because just off N. Our waitress was so very nice and the owner went to every table talking with customers. ![]() ![]() On top of all the wonderful food, the customer service was above and beyond too! It’s rare to see such positive interaction consistently among staff. =) Made on their house made cinnamon bread, lightly toasted and tender in the center with syrup. The French Toast was really off the charts! A recommendation from our waitress Yvette and even though we were full we still ate them. ![]() The sheer joy on my husband’s face said it all! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The blintzes…oh man were they amazing! Soft pillows of blintze wrapped around a light, creamy center and lightly browned. Adding the corned beef and eggs makes it the ultimate. The latkes were the BEST!!! Crispy on the edges, thick, seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The Schmoozer is freshly made potato latkes with corned beef and over easy eggs. Had The Schmoozer, French Toast and Bunny’s Cheese Blintzes. WOW!! ! We stopped in for breakfast today and everything was delicious. I'd be open to come here again when the weather is warm and I'll sit outside. I'm sure in the summer months this spot is a great find, but the size of the restaurant really limits the ability to truly take in and enjoy the experience. Overall, the price for the experience is what hindered my impression. The decor/atmosphere was fun and lively and there are paint markers on the table so that guests can draw or write on basically anything in the restaurant. My total was a lil over $17 which seemed kinda steep for such a basic meal and a cup of hot black tea. □ □ Overall, the French toast was okay. I ordered the Mexican French Toast with bacon and my friend ordered some type of breakfast tacos with street corn. Once a table was free, someone brought out our food and we were able to be seated. The staff was friendly and tried to urge people who were just lounging about to wrap up their visit. There was another couple ahead of us already waiting so we kinda had to stand out of the way for 10-15ish minutes lol. After we were able to move inside and order, we were told we would have to wait until a table was free so we could be seated. We arrived around 11 am and there was a small line to order so we had to wait outside for a few minutes. I wanted to try a new brunch place so my friend recommended Katalina's. ![]()
